Finestres.
And suddenly we found ourselves confined, locked up. A pandemic stopped the world and forced us to rethink (a little bit more!) the way we inhabit this great rock mass that rotates on itself at high speed around an incandescent ball that moves at a dizzying pace in a galaxy that is nothing more than one among millions in a universe expanding into unknown confines.
Hence “Finestres” (Windows), a reflection of a confined daily life, but not closed. Because each of the illustrations, each of the verses, is a window open to a new world, an open window full of love, an open window that emerges from the bottom of our hearts and tears us apart. Illustrations in verse or illustrated verses, whatever. Small cuts from a difficult period, a period that should have made us understand that all we can do is love.
